Welcome to LA PASTERIA CHAPALITA, a delightful Italian gem nestled in the heart of Chapalita, Guadalajara. Located at Av de Las Rosas 730, this charming eatery stands out not just for its authentic cuisine, but also for its warm and inviting atmosphere. With glowing reviews from patrons, LA PASTERIA CHAPALITA is making a name for itself as a top-notch destination for both locals and visitors alike.
As I stepped into the restaurant, I was immediately taken by its quaint décor and cozy ambiance, perfect for a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends. The flickering candlelight adds a lovely touch that transforms dinner into a delightful experience, particularly as night falls. The staff at LA PASTERIA CHAPALITA is another highlight; they are friendly, attentive, and more than willing to accommodate specific dietary needs, making it a safe haven for those with gluten sensitivities, as noted by customer Steven Belucz.
When it comes to the cuisine, the stars of the menu are its fresh, hand-crafted pastas. The arrabbiata is a must-try for those who enjoy a bit of a kick, as testified by Alberto Rascón, who found it to be decent while quickly served. Eduardo Guerrero raves about the flan—a dessert that promises to be a sweet ending to any meal. However, it’s important to note that some patrons found the service to be a tad slow, particularly during the bill payment phase, leading to a desire for swifter attention at peak times.
In contrast, customer Adrian Hernandez highlights the deliciousness of the dishes coupled with wonderful service at prices that won’t break the bank. This restaurant offers a refreshing escape from the traditional Mexican fare, inviting diners to indulge in the rich flavors of Italian food. “ I was looking for a place for my partner where he could have a gluten-free meal as he's a coeliac, and I found this lovely restaurant. We walked over fron our hotel and managed to get a table straight away. The hostess was kind and looked for an English menu straight away. Our waiter spoke English and understood our needs and served us quickly. I ordered the Calamari, which was disappointing. Thinly sliced, which would've been ok if they didn't overcook it. It was tough and chewy, but the sauce that came with it was delicious. My partner ordered the portobello mushrooms gluten-free, and he was a happy bunny. That looked good and delicious and had a lottle taste of it, too. As for my main, I ordered the meatball with pasta, which was tasty. The only thing i wouldxsay they could use a bit more sauce as the meatball is large and very dense. Ournother dish was a salmon with capers, and it was a beautifully cooked salmon, but apparently, the mashed potatoes weren't gluten-free, which we didn't find out until the food was delivered to our table. Overall, it's a good experience considering we don't soeak Spanish, and they really looked after us. Definitely recommend this place to try if you're in the area. . ”
“ Best Italian in Guadalajara!! The manager Grey was amazing ”
“ Decent pasta served quickly, but the overall service was a bit slow. The staff, both the waiter and the hostess, were very friendly, and I was seated right away and given a menu. I ordered the arrabbiata pasta, which was delivered quickly. The pasta was decent, though nothing particularly memorable. However, it took a while to pay. I asked for the bill but didn’t receive it until someone else eventually brought it over. Overall, it’s a solid restaurant with a good variety of pasta options and great music selection. ”
“ Quaint little place nestled in the city. Service was wonderful, and food was tasty. It's reasonably priced as well, and it's a good place to got to get away from the norm of Mexican cuisine. At night they turn the light down and you can enjoy dinner by candlelight. ”
“ Bravo. The most professional service and best food I have had in Guadalajara! Simply amazing!!! ”
